Algebraic Aspects of Mapping Class Groups
and Related Groups
One-year postdoctoral position in Dijon
In the framework of the ANR project
AlMaRe,
a one-year post-doctoral position will be soon available at the
"Institut de Mathématiques de Bourgogne" in Dijon.
The research area is the algebraic study of mapping class groups of surfaces and related groups with the methods of algebraic topology,
combinatorial group theory, geometric group theory and/or low-dimensional topology.
There are no teaching duties and the salary will be about 2030 € per month ("salaire net").
The recruited person will have access to a travel allowance in order to participate to scientific events and visit members of the project
AlMaRe who are not based in Dijon.
The starting date will be September 1, 2021.
